Your Favourite Aussie Creators!

We're Huzi and Jess

Our journey began over eight years ago on a (very random) Uber Eats shoot—Huzi a then semi-pro tennis player, claimed he could shoot video. Whether he was chasing a new career or my number, it worked and he landed himself a career in videography with a new girlfriend!

So, Who on earth are we?

Fast forward to today: we also known as the team behind Florence James Collective, a full-scale production company, Propsyland, an Australian Prop and Backdrop company and Florence James Studios, a local studio that we consider a creators playground!

But where did it actually start?

My path started at 19, with no plan—just grief and a spontaneous Canon camera purchase that led to that first Uber Eats gig. When the world went into lockdown, we pivoted to product photography, helping brands get online from our garage-turned-studio. That was the beginning of Florence James Collective. A business I named after both myself and my dad, in honour of him.

And now?

Now, through our course Creative Scoop, we teach others how to do what we do—bold, imaginative photography that actually helps creators and brands grow both creatively and financially. We’ve come a long way, and we’re just getting started! We can’t wait to help you kick off your creative journey too.
